The American Philatelic Research Library maintains a digital archive of the Postal History Journal that contains issues 1–143. Members of the Postal History Society may access these downloadable versions through the society's Web site. Go to www.stamps.org, select Services > Library, and then click on APRL Digital at the bottom right side of the page. From this page, you can select Postal History Journal.

Submissions
The journal's editors welcome writers to submit their postal-history articles to the journal. Please review the following guidelines:
  • Submissions should be no more than 3,000 words, sent electronically to the editors at agatherin@yahoo.com in a simple document file. Use endnotes, rather than footnotes and/or a bibliography.
  • Illustrations should be in color, at least 300 dpi, sent in separate jpeg or tiff files. These can be transferred in emails, or by using Dropbox. Captions should be sent in a separate document file and, if possible, contain information other than in the main text. Be sure to provide sources for the illustrations.
  • If English is not your first language, we can edit the text towards maximum "readability."
